A new batch of photos of Gold Striker have been posted by California's Great America this week.  The park is continuing to add supports for their new Great Coasters International (who shared some photos, too) designed wooden coaster at a furious pace, with an entirely new section now rising toward the sky.

One thing that's more evident in these photos that I didn't grasp before is that there is an elevation difference on the land the ride sits on.  The above photo really shows that off.  It's no super huge hill that the ride sits on, but still, this makes the ride even more interesting to me.

Can't wait to see more!
