Wood has arrived, and cement is almost ready to be poured... but California's Great America isn't quite ready to spill the official beans about what they have going on at the park.

What is expected to be a new wooden roller coaster from Great Coasters International is shaping up nicely at the park.  Seen above is a shot the park shared recently showing the start of a large cement slab footer, but they've also posted photos of the stacks of wood that have arrived.

With vertical construction not that far off perhaps we'll see an earlier than average announcement for the new ride!
